The Day Up The Shard ♡
12:00
Last week I decided to take the family to London. I thought it would be nice to spend fathers day up The Shard. I must admit... the view was AMAZING! Every window you looked out of you were able to see a landmark. Plus the lighting for a good ol' selfie was brilliant. Oh and how can i forget the toilet... now I didn't even need to go a toilet, but i simply went to take a picture. Words cant describe the layout of the toilet.
For those of you that don't know what The Shard is, its a large skyscraper that sits near London Bridge and has 72 floors. You go up in 2 lifts, the first lift stops at floor 33, this has restaurants and a shop on. The second lift will then take you to 71st floor which has the view.
I would highly recommend this experience. The only downside to the whole thing is that when you book tickets, you can only go up there once with that ticket however you are able to stay up their as long as you would like. I kind of wish that I booked it for around 6 o'clock as then I would of been able to see the view in the daylight and the evening ( I booked it at 12 in the afternoon).
After being up there for a good hour or so we then went down to Borough Market. Walking through the market there are different smells filling the whole of the "greenhouse". Everything you can think of, food wise, it was there, juicy pulled pork sandwiches to caramel fudge.
We then wondered the streets of London for the rest of the day. We obviously had to pop in to the M&M Shop and had a struggling stroll through the sea of people down Oxford Street. I have to say, when I get older I want to live in London. Everything is just beautiful there.
Anyway guys, I still have no idea how to end these posts so, erm...
See ya later ♡
